Possum plays Dead to create a family friendly environment and celebrate the timeless music of the Grateful Dead. A musical blend of Americana; rock, blues and jazz.
Formed in 2015, inspired by the Grateful Dead’s final tour Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of the Grateful Dead, Clif Edwards and Scott Larson joined together to keep the music of the Dead alive. Joined by Tyler Moore in 2016, with the arrival of David Ekstrom in 2022 and Petr Janata in 2024 Possum continues to grow and explore the varied musical landscapes that make up the Grateful Dead catalog.
With Garcia-inspired creativity Clif plays lead guitar and sings. Scott sings and plays bass. Tyler plays drums. David provides rhythm guitar and vocals. Petr plays keys while singing harmonies.
